            The Virginia Court made the following holding:

  • In fashioning an equitable distribution award, a court must consider the factors in Va. Code Ann. § 20-107.3(E). As long as the trial court considers all the factors, it is at the court's discretion to determine what weight to give each factor when making the equitable distribution award. An appellate court will not reverse a court's equitable distribution unless it appears from the record that the court has abused its discretion, that it has not considered or has misapplied one of the statutory mandates, or that the evidence fails to support the findings of fact underlying its resolution of the conflict in the equities.
